Theodore L. Hobson. Q.C. the Principal of the firm has been in legal practice for over 52 years having been called to the Bar of the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple, London on the 14th day of May ,1963.
The firm has been in existence since 1977 after its Principal Theodore L. Hobson returned from a stint in London, England as the Deputy Commissioner for the Eastern Caribbean Governments between June 1968 to August 1972 and a five year stint in Jamaica as a Legal Practitioner between September 1972 and September 1977. The firm has working relationship with other legal firms in the Eastern Caribbean and Jamaica.
The firm has done legal work not only for individuals but also Corporations and Government. Indeed between 2001 and 2006 its Principal was the Legal Advisor to the Nevis Island Government.
The firm specializes in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Intellectual and Property Law, Employment Law, Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law.
It boast its record as the legal firm which established the Four Seasons Resort, Nevis the only first five star Hotel in the Eastern Caribbean if not the entire region. It was involved not only in the incorporation of the Companies Associated with the Resort but also its Principal was involved in the search for Financing of the project in the financial centre of the world. It is still retained as the F.S.R. Estates Ltd which has built over one hundred custom made first class villas which are associated with the Four Seasons Resort, Nevis.
